With a head count of just under 100 people attending, this inaugural NSAAA Charity Ball is shaping up to be a fantastic night's entertainment for all involved and my thanks go out to everyone involved in making it such a pleasure to be involved This includes the individuals who have supported the event and handed over their hard earned cash in the promise of a good evening, the benefactors who have not only given their goods for raffle and auction prizes, but their services and time to ensure the evening goes wonderfully and walks the walk as well as talks the talk and to the charity and their supporters, who have taken time to sell raffle tickets, send e-mails to members and friends and get awareness for the event.
I have dedicated so much of my time over the last 6 months to this venture and I am very nervous, but very proud of what has been acheived by so few. I just hope the event itself reflects all the hard work which has been put in.

Sorry for the gap in 'News', but things have been so hectic with the ball itself that there's not been a lot of time to get online to update!
Well, things seem to be really taking off, with just under ONE HUNDRED ball tickets paid for/deposits received with two and a half months left to go!
On behalf of the charity, thank you all so very much for your support and I know once the ball is advertised via The Sentinel in October, we should get even more of a response!
HOWEVER . . . No matter how fantastic the response has been so far, I want more!
PLEASE; tell your friends, your family and your work colleagues. Convince your boss that instead of spending the same amount of money in another establishment 2 weeks later for your works Xmas gathering, spend it with us and know that not only are you going to have an amazing night, but you're helping to keep the doors of a small and very worthwhile charity open to help the Midlands community.
If you can't make it, then you can still do something good - request a book of 5 raffle tickets and sell them to people you know! Or simply spend £1 and buy a ticket yourself. You don't have to be attending the ball to win!
