About The Artists

Jamie Ashton

Jamie started his life in music at the age of just 4, taking piano lessons with a tutor from a local university.

At the age of 10 having already reached Grade 5, he took a role as rehearsal pianist and assistant musical director for a local youth theatre company. Jamie furthered his progress by studying the piano with the principal from the Royal Northern School of Music. He then expanded his choices by learning the alto saxophone and was later one of 200 out of 10,000 people to be accepted into Stafford County Talent School for Gifted Musicians.

Completing his GCSE music with an A* at the age of 14. Jamie went on to complete grade 8 piano, his A levels and a BTEC National diploma in performing arts music by the age of 15 and completed his studying with a Masters degree shortly after. He also reached the quarter finals of the BBC Young Musician of the Year.

At 17, Jamie took some time out from studying to go into some teaching, building up a clientelle of 22 pupils. At 19 he took another different direction building his experience by joining a local 4 piece cabaret showband touring the country as their pianist/vocalist. After many positive comments regarding his unknown vocal ability at the time, Jamie decided to start his own business as a solo vocal/instrumentalist touring the country. Having built up a stunning light show, PA system and fan base, Jamie now tours the country as one of the most talented musicians on the circuit, showcasing his talents to clubs, pubs and performing at special occasions such as weddings and funerals.

His next step is to create an unrivaled tribute to one of the worlds most influential artists Michael Buble this year.
